To hide your game history follow this link alive.xbox.com/.../Settings while signed in with your GFWL account and go to Privacy Controls. At that place you will see the choice of Game History, set it to Blocked.

Apologies, but there is no manner to hide what you are currently playing other than to announced offline.

Is there a way to send a complaint to inquire for a feature that hides what game you lot are playing? I consider that an invasion of privacy. Steam has such an option.

wow, exercise you lot guy really read my mail? I dont want to set online status to blocked because then information technology appears you lot are offline, and then no one can contact you.
I just want to hid what game I am playing, but appear online.

Is setting it to friends only not an option? That would block strangers from seeing you are online and what you are playing but the folk on your friends listing could still do both. Surely you wouldn't mind your friends seeing what yous are playing?

I would similar to appear offline and I know that I can do this by setting "Online Status" to "Blocked". However, my friends tin also see my game history and tell that I was online playing a game 5 minutes ago. This kinda defeats the purpose of "appearing" offline. I know I can prepare the "Game History" to be blocked but I don't want to practice that all the fourth dimension. I merely want to truly "announced" offline sometimes equally in completely not have whatever trace of me existence on xbox live that my friends can run across. Is this possible?

No, information technology'due south not possible. You have two combined options, one of which is appearing offline and two blocking games. This is not possible otherwise.
